#1 Random Event Tips and Tricks

You are just starting to become an Event Planner or Wedding Planner- you are about to experience a lot of back to back events – It is not  a daily party! We have several times in the year where it’s close to 24/7  Often I get asked how do you that? How come you don’t look exhausted and are still standing? So here comes my personal recipe to success:

  • Treat everyone with respect and work as a team with your suppliers. There are obstacles and hiccups but any smile can motivate to find good solutions! You are in this together!
  • Work out to stay mentally and physically in shape. I do love to push the flight cases to add some exercises into the onsite set-up. I do obstacle racing and endurance racing in my free time – pushing limits mentally and physically make me strong for onsite productions.
  • Focus on priorities and to do’s
  • Communication skills -be transparent with your client. Event planning is a service industry! Always treat everyone nicely and genuine. Anyone could be your client or recommend you to someone.
  • Get it done attitude and hands on as well as incredible team works.
